Kala Ghoda Art Festival 2015

If you have been with me for a while you will know that I love going to festivals. I love the vibe. I love the small stalls. I love the small businesses. and most of all I love discovering all the new ideas that people have and how they are bringing them to life.

Kala Ghoda is the art district in Mumbai. Its part of the old part of the city locally referred to as “town”. Its that part of Mumbai that is surrounded by old architecture with the high columns and high ceiling (they don’t make it like that anymore). For the festival there were some epic art installations that had been commissioned.

Since I frequent so many of these events I did not find a lot of new businesses or stalls but the surroundings were absolutely picturesque.

I am really looking forward to the Kala Ghoda Art Festival next year. As one of the No-entry-fee exhibit I think its really good way to bring people together.

Do you also have an art district in your city? What kind of festivals do you have there?
