Indian Luxury :: Forest Essentials

As someone who has oily skin I find it very difficult to find a moisturiser that suits me when the whether changes. We are moving from winter into spring here is Mumbai right now.

After trying a few different formulations from the high-street I realised that I would have to deal with the problem in a very different way. I started to look into various alternative products to get the hydration my skin needed. While researching I came across the lot of people recommending Aloe Vera. And also one of the brand name that kept coming up was Forest Essentials.

Before this I had never tried any of their products so I really did not know what to expect. While I visited the store in the mall I was very presently surprised with how luxurious their stores are. All the products were beautifully displayed. Also they are a brand that believes in old Ayurvedic ways of making products so I knew that the products are of the highest quality.

I bought the Light Hydrating Facial Gel.  This moisturiser is a gel consistency. This is not the first time I have tried this kind of moisturiser as I have used the Clinique Moisture Surge. I have used it for over a month now.

When I apply the gel it goes on a little sticky but that goes away as soon as the gel gets absorbed in the skin. I was most surprised that the gel acts as an amazing primer also and helps keep makeup last far longer than usual.

I know that I will be hitting the bottom of this pot very soon and I cannot wait to try more of their products.

What new brands have you tried recently??
